The thick hot sipping chocolate is the best we found in Barcelona or Valencia. it is curious to me that it does not have any more prominent position in their marketing because it is what makes this place unique and worth coming to. Otherwise it’s just a Starbucks in a pretty building. If you’re going to visit Casa Batlo right next-door you definitely need to take a break right here In theory, you can make this chocolate at home by buying some of the bars in milk. We bought some and have yet to try it."

"The hot chocolate was amazing and not expensive given that they are inside Casa Amatller. The seating area outdoors is really nice and you can see the back side of Casa Batllo. It’s a nice place for a quick break during the day."

"At the entrance, you can also purchase chocolates in pretty cases that are only sold in Barcelona. Of course, you can also taste it before purchasing. I recommend the strawberry white chocolate! There's nothing like hot chocolate in cold weather! Admission is free. Additionally, it would be even better to go up and visit the museum! I strongly recommend it."
